Another Wonderful Rug Show

We couldn't have asked for a better Saturday to start our Bi-Annual rug show.  Hallockville was decorated to the hilt -- cornstalks and chrysanthemums everywhere!  There were cows and horses and sheep, crafters galore, and, of course, a big barn full of hand-hooked rugs.  A few members sold finished rugs, the vendors (including me) sold lots of wool and patterns, and lots of people expressed interest in learning how to hook.  Such a great weekend.  The rain late on Sunday didn't even dampen our spirits.

The Peconic Ruggers, started by Gail Horton in 1996, is a rug hooking guild from the North Fork of Long Island, New York. We meet monthly at the beautiful Hallockville Museum Farm in Riverhead, New York.
