July, 2010 HOOK-IN
A surprise awaited us at our hook-in last Saturday, July 24th. A cool breeze beneath the shade of the apple trees behind the Hudson house!
Surprisingly, we were able to hook comfortably until around 1:30 when it suddenly became brutally hot and we moved in to the air-conditioned Hudson House. Along with the public we were visited by a reporter from the group of papers that owns the North Shore Sun and Denise Civiletti from Riverheadlocal.com,
a website that highlights Riverhead. Denise did
some videotaping so possibly we can be seen on the website. The day was very pleasant and the food was delicious! Hopefully we will see more
people at the next hook-in in August
